We realize that you are better able to participate fully in our community when your well-being is supported. The goal of the Joint BME Wellness Resources area is to provide all faculty, staff, post-docs and students with a central landing point to reference all available wellness resources at NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill. This page is a work in progress, but as resources are added, they will appear in the left-hand menu.

Well-being Assessment Tools

Individual wellness is multifactorial and complex. Your sense of overall well-being is dependent on factors relating to your physical health, the supportive nature of your environment, how well you’re coping and managing daily stress, how well you’re sleeping, nutritional and lifestyle choices, community engagement and your sense of purpose in activities.

Understanding the factors that influence your health can help you make positive changes for your future. In order to facilitate where you can focus your efforts, there are numerous well-being assessment tools to help show areas where you may need more support. Free assessment tools can be found here, as well as through this resource
