Purdue University College of Engineering’s Trailblazers (TBE) in Engineering program consists of individuals considering faculty careers in engineering academia. Those accepted into the program as fellows demonstrate outstanding scholarly achievements and the potential to expand representation and diversity in engineering.
Aryssa Simpson, a 3rd year BME Ph.D. student, has been accepted as a 2023 TBE fellow! As a fellow, Aryssa will have the opportunity to jumpstart her higher education career in engineering by attending a multi-day TBE workshop where she will participate in various activities, including panel discussions and educational sessions geared toward future engineering faculty. She will also have the opportunity to network and gain feedback from key professionals in the industry.
