Dr. Fran Ligler has been re-elected to serve as a Councillor for the National Academy of Engineering Governing Council. The new appointment will run for three years, during which time Fran will continue to help steer the Academy, and the nation, into the future. The mission of the NAE is to advance the well-being of the nation by promoting a vibrant engineering profession and by marshalling the expertise and insights of eminent engineers to provide independent advice to the federal government on matters involving engineering and technology.
