University of North Carolina’s Graduate School recently awarded Kent Gordon, a BME graduate student, a 2016-2017 Dissertation Completion Fellowship. This fellowship program is designed to support doctoral students in the final year of their dissertation by enabling awardees to focus full time on research and writing. This improves quality of the work and shortens the time to complete the degree. BME extends our warmest congratulations to Kent for receiving this great award.
