The Center for Comparative Medicine and Translational Research has awarded Kenan grants to five BME faculty members. Dr. Matthew Fisher received a Kenan grant for “In-vitro and In-vivo Characterization of 3D-Bioplotted Scaffold Design for Tissue Engineering of the Knee Meniscus.” Dr. Ke Cheng received a Kenan award for “Human lung stem cells for treating pulmonary fibrosis.” Dr. Elizabeth Loboa, Dr. Fran Ligler, and Dr. Jacqueline Cole received a Kenan grant for “The angiogenic and osteogenic effects of cyclic tensile strain on a co-culture of adipose-derived stem and endothelial cells.” Congratulations, BME faculty!
