The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) recently announced the 2020 class of Senior Members: BME Professor Roger Narayan is among the 38 accomplished academic inventors representing 24 research universities, governmental entities and non-profit institutes worldwide. They are named inventors on 397 issued U.S. patents.

NAI Senior Members are active faculty, scientists and administrators from NAI Member Institutions who have demonstrated remarkable innovation and produced technologies that have the potential for a significant impact on the welfare of society.
