BME Teaching Professor Lianne Cartee was named Distinguished Undergraduate Professor by the NC State Alumni Association. This group recognizes faculty who excel in the classroom, laboratory and in the field. For over 50 years the NC State Alumni Association has recognized top faculty with stipends that today range from $1,000 to $4,000. This year, the Association awarded 25 faculty members a total of $70,000. Nominations were made by deans, department heads, peers and students. Congratulations to Dr. Cartee for being selected as one of the six Alumni Association Distinguished Undergraduate Professors!
