This spring, UNC’s Academic Advising Program solicited student input to nominate advisors and staff serving in an advising capacity for campus awards.
The nomination committee selected Naji Husseini, Associate Professor and Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), as one of the Class of 1996 Advising Awards winners for the 2022-2023 academic year!
Husseini has been presented with the Senior Class of 1996 Award for Advising Excellence. He will receive a monetary award and plaque to honor his exceptional service to his students.
