Earlier last month of February BME got the award for most participation in the North Carolina State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC). The scholarship was awarded to Candace Burgin, Junior undergraduate student at NCSU/ UNC BME.
Candace defines herself as a “committed and imaginative student focused on improving and developing the biological devices in the medical sciences.” She is not only a full-time scholar student, but also a Women in Science and Engineering learning village ambassador. Congratulations Candace!
