Dr Ashley Brown was recently nominated a 2019 Biomaterials Science Emerging Investigator, in recognition of her potential to influence future directions in the field. Biomaterials Science also presented the 2019 Emerging Investigators collection, which gathers the very best work from biomaterials scientists in the early stages of their independent careers. Dr Brown’s article titled “Platelet-like particles dynamically stiffen fibrin matrices and improve wound healing outcomes” was published as part of this collection and can be found here.
