Dr. Zhen Gu’s smart insulin delivery technology has made waves in the biomedical community. Now, his startup company Zenomics is on its way to delivering cost-effective and painless diabetic solutions to millions of patients around the globe as a result of a $5.8M investment by MicroPort Scientific Corporation. This funding will allow Zenomics to continue improving its technology and begin testing in large animal models. If successful, the company will move into human clinical trials.
