On May 30th, BME Lampe Professor Fran Ligler and BME Industrial Advisory Board member George Ligler spoke at the Agricultural University of Athens. Following her talk, Fran was inducted as an honorary member of the Hellenic Society for Nanotechnology for the Health Sciences by the President of the HSNanoHS Executive Committee Stathis Estathopoulos. Professor Estathopoulos is also Head of Radiation Physics at the University of Athens School of Medicine. The event and seminars were hosted by Professor Spyridon Kintzios, Secretary of the HSNanoHS Executive Committee and Dean of the School of Biotechnology and Food Development at the Agricultural University of Athens.
