Congratulations to Victoria Cosenza and Supriya Sivadanam, BME undergraduates who were awarded with Top Presentation Awards at the 2017 NC State Undergraduate Research Symposium! Students were judged by College of Engineering and discipline representatives, who then selected the top presentations in each category. Victoria, mentored by Dr. David Lalush, presented “Modeling The Dynamic Response Of Pet Injections,” while Dr. Ashley Brown’s student Supriya presented “Development Of Gold And Silver Loaded Antimicrobial Platelet-Like-Particles.” Victoria and Supriya both received certificates of excellence and were invited to a reception given by the local chapter of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society.
We would also like to acknowledge and congratulate Elizabeth Easter, a senior in MSE mentored by BME’s Dr. Jacque Cole, for taking a Top Presentation Award for her project “Validating Laser Doppler Flowmetry For In Vivo Longitudinal Measurements Of Bone Blood Perfusion.”
Well done, ladies. Excellent work!
