BME graduate student Ashley Johnson has been selected to receive a 2016 GEAB Impact Award. These awards are given to students who, with their faculty mentors, are conducting critical research at UNC Chapel Hill. The Impact Awards recognize outstanding graduate student research of particular benefit to North Carolina. Ashley, along with other Impact awardees, will be honored at a reception in April 2016. She will have the opportunity to showcase her research to the campus community, state legislators, and other attendees. BME congratulates Ashley for this honor!
